Job Description




As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol Driver in Anniston, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with all personnel. This position requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance issues found during patrols throughout the location.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and site personnel to relay important information and escalate incidents as needed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as part of daily responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
