GENERAL SUMMARY:

  • The Emergency Management Mass Notification Administrator supports the operational and administrative functions of Henry Ford Health's Emergency Management and Business Continuity Department.
  • This role will report to the Director of System Emergency Management and Business Continuity and is expected to coordinate with System Emergency Managers and IT leadership.
  • This position ensures efficient departmental coordination by managing logistics, documentation, and communication processes across the health system.
  • This role serves as the primary system administrator for the health system's emergency mass notification platform, supporting critical communications, training, testing, and user engagement across the organization.
  • Works with Emergency Managers and Information Technology to ensure optimum performance of software in support of communications resiliency.
  • In addition, this role provides coordination and administrative support for the health system's emergency management department and their resources.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate degree or a combination of relevant education and professional experience required. 2+ years of administrative or coordination experience required; healthcare or emergency management background preferred.
  • Experience with mass notification software platforms (e.g., Everbridge, RAVE, Alertus, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
