Summary:

Intern Dates: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

A meaningful educational experience for a college student to gain valuable experience in their field of study; while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in an enriching environment. The Intern will gain networking opportunities that include interactions with CHRISTUS leaders and Associates. The Intern will be provided with a variety of projects to support learning objectives in areas of quality management, organizational improvement, project management, and compliance.

Responsibilities:


  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Quality Management: Analyze, monitor, and interpret quality performance metrics across multiple lines of business to identify trends and areas of improvement. Support the implementation of quality improvement strategies that align with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
  • Organizational Improvement: Support projects related to process improvement, strategic planning, and developing communication materials.
  • Project Management: Assist Quality team with project development and monitoring. Partner with internal stakeholders to update project trackers and materials.
  • Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements through document reviews. Develop and evaluate internal policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices.

Requirements:

Experience:


  • At least 2 years of college preparation towards major.

Education:


  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program in one of the following majors: Healthcare Administration/Management, Public Health, Quality Management, Business, or a related field.
  • PC and Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others.
  • Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills.
  • Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
