Description About the Role: GenAI Lens is Meltwater's flagship AI-powered intelligence experience - live in production and central to our product differentiation and growth. We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to evolve and scale this experience. You'll build fast, reliable, and accessible AI-native interfaces that surface large-scale NLP and LLM insights inside the Meltwater application. Working within established frontend standards, you'll focus on improving performance, reducing bugs, strengthening accessibility, and continuously raising the quality of our AI-driven experiences. You'll collaborate closely with design, backend, and AI/ML engineers to deliver intuitive, trustworthy intelligence at scale. What You'll Work On: Owning complex frontend features end-to-end, through production hardening Rendering large LLM outputs without sacrificing performance Streaming AI responses into interactive workflows Visualizing model confidence and explainability Designing trust signals in AI-powered interfaces Managing complex state across multi-step AI workflows (refine, regenerate, filter) Building interactive, data-heavy dashboards Driving performance optimization and eliminating production bottlenecks Ensuring and improving accessibility standards Contributing to frontend architecture and system evolution Level Expectations: Own complex frontend features end-to-end Contribute to architectural decisions and system quality Drive high standards in performance, accessibility, and reliability Proactively simplify and strengthen the frontend platform Collaborate deeply with design, backend, and AI/ML partners Share knowledge and elevate frontend craft within the team What You'll Bring: Must-have Deep expertise in React and TypeScript Strong understanding of rendering, state management, and performance optimization Experience shipping complex production applications Experience integrating with GraphQL and/or REST APIs Strong debugging skills across browser and runtime performance Clear ownership mindset and ability to work independently Genuine interest in Generative AI Strong communication and collaboration skills Nice to have Experience with Next.js Experience in a monorepo environment Experience building AI-powered or data-intensive products Familiarity with frontend observability tools Strong product intuition and eye for design What We Offer: Enjoy comprehensive paid time off that allows you to have an enhanced work-life balance Excellent medical, dental, and vision options 401(k) matching, life insurance, commuter benefits, and parental leave plans Complimentary CalmApp subscription for you and your loved ones, because mental wellness matters.
