Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer (Pega Configuration; Java) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.
In this role, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. The ideal candidate will review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- supporting consumer technology teams to assist with increased activity in resolving indirect customer credit disputes while the team works towards implementing automation assistance with escalated issues.
- Utilizing PEGA as a case management tool to resolve case issues in 30 days
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Pega PRPC
- Participate in solution design, application architecture, workflow configuration, and rules development
- Build integrations with external systems using REST
- Implement case management features, decisioning rules, UI components, Data Pages, Activities, and Flows
- Incorporate AI/ML capabilities into Pega applications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues using Pega's debugging tools
- Support event driven architectures and extended UI development as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
- Hands on experience with Pega PRPC (Pega Infinity)
- Proven experience integrating Pega with enterprise systems via APIs
- CSSA certification is required
- Strong Java development and object oriented programming skills
- Exposure to PDC, debugging tools (Clipboard, Tracer), and performance optimization
- Experience working with Kafka for event-driven designs
- Experience with integrations, REST connectors, and event driven architecture
- Knowledge of modern UI frameworks (React or Angular)
- Experience with SQL, DevOps pipelines, Git, cloud platforms, and microservices
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with AI/ML driven capabilities, such as intelligent routing, predictive decisioning, NLP, and automation workflows
Pay range: $70.00 - $79.00 per Hour
