As a Business Operations Coordinator, HCSE (Healthcare Stakeholder Engagement) & Projects, you'll help drive seamless processes, support key stakeholder initiatives, and keep highvisibility projects running smoothly in a fastpaced, highly regulated environment.

About the role

The Business Operations Coordinator, HCSE & Projects supports UCB's Business Planning and Operations team by managing Healthcare Stakeholder Engagement Activities (HCSE), coordinating Delegation of Authority entries, and ensuring accurate, compliant operational processes within a fastpaced, highly regulated environment. The role also partners with crossfunctional leaders to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and provide project management support for highvisibility strategic initiatives.

What you'll do

HCSE Activity Management

  • Oversee preparation, submission, and reconciliation of Activity Notification Forms (ANFs) supporting HCS engagement in UCB activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements throughout the entire ANF lifecycle.

Delegation of Authority Entry

  • Enter data into multiple systems and track progress across stakeholders, including spend document creation and purchase requisitions.
  • Serve as liaison to procurement, project owners, administrative staff, and vendors to ensure timely processing of paperwork and remove barriers to execution.

Operations Project Work

  • Partner with the Launch Excellence + Portfolio Engagement Lead and the Head of Strategy and Innovation to identify projects requiring projectmanagement support.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and enhance operational performance.

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations coordination, preferably in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, healthcare, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and budget management principles.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in technology tools and dashboards for operational tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to evolving systems and processes.

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $72k-$94k per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
