Job Summary


The Sales Analyst, Convenience and Gas, supports leadership decision-making and long-term channel strategy by delivering data-driven insights and actionable recommendations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for sales data and reporting within the convenience account portfolio and partners closely with sales leadership to drive execution against retailer and national business plans. The position requires strong analytical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively across all levels of the organization.

Job Responsibilities




  • Perform complex sales analyses using multiple data sources to generate actionable recommendations for sales leadership.



  • Deliver ad hoc analyses under tight deadlines to support account leaders and strategic initiatives.



  • Support monthly reporting processes in collaboration with cross-functional finance and business insights teams.



  • Develop fact-based presentations to support retailer discussions and internal sales strategy meetings.



  • Create and maintain consistent communication platforms, including key account sales meetings and regular updates to stakeholders.



  • Build strong internal and external relationships to serve as a trusted sales data resource.



  • Stay current on industry, technical, and business trends that impact sales performance and channel strategy.



  • Lead and manage key projects impacting assigned accounts and the small format landscape.



  • Support growth initiatives such as territory expansion and business case development for incremental resources.



  • Establish and maintain best-practice reporting processes, including weekly and monthly updates.



  • Develop reporting templates and executive summaries to track core sales initiatives and performance metrics.




Job Requirements




  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry.



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to interpret sales data and provide actionable recommendations.



  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to both internal stakeholders and external retail partners.



  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate with teams ranging from field personnel to executive leadership.



  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



  • Ability to translate technical data into clear, persuasive insights for diverse audiences.
