Principal Project Scheduler

Opportunity Overview:

Long-term contract opportunity as a Principal Project Scheduler. You will work remote and report to the Manager of Project Controls.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Coordinate tasks/deadlines and escalate issues to management
• Plan controls aspects of projects like project baselines and risk registers
• Use tools and techniques to consider inefficiencies for project optimization
• Apply schedule, cost and risk analytics to confirm validity of plan
• Lead schedule, cost, and risk activities and communicate project requirements
• Process changes following an integrated change control process
• Review expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope
• Maintain project metrics to ensure team, customer, and partners are informed of project status
• Develop systems, databases and procedures to ensure project understanding
• Communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance
• Be the project controls subject matter expert for internal customer's support
• Integrate goals and actions participating in matters of common concern w/ other teams
• Implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve performance
• Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle

Who You Are:

• 10+ years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 6 or more years of experience in the position functional/technical area
• Primavera scheduling experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55/hour to $60/hour.
