Position Title: Gluer Operator Lead
Wage: $28.25/hour Shift: 3rd, Tuesday through Friday Hours: 03:00 pm - 01:00 am Seize your opportunities! Apply with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Gluer Operator Lead at a company in Sheboygan, WI. This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift. Apply now! Gluer Operator Lead Responsibilities: - Setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and performing routine upkeep on finishing equipment - Functioning as hands-on working lead, operating equipment while supporting supervisor in achieving safety, quality, and production targets - Reviewing factory tickets to confirm sequencing, routing, and specifications prior to execution - Validating materials and components for accuracy and completeness before, during, and upon completion of each job - Ensuring adherence to SOP's, equipment standards, and quality requirements to meet customer and delivery expectations - Providing clear communication of job requirements to operators and crews to ensure alignment before running production - Training, mentoring, and coaching operators, assistants, and inspectors to strengthen performance and consistency - Maintaining maintenance documentation; coordinating repairs and service needs in accordance with training and guidelines - Completing approvals and supporting QA processes, documentation, and compliance - Providing operational support across finishing areas to support production priorities - Operating material handling equipment Requirements for Gluer Operator Lead: - High school diploma or equivalent - Prior experience in folding carton operations or related environment highly preferred - Strong mechanical aptitude with effective problem solving skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Ability to interpret specifications, work instructions, and perform basic math - Ability to walk/stand for 10-12 hours in a fast-paced environment; lifting/moving up to 40 pounds regularly QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
