Description and Requirements

IDG Morrisville Intern Program - Human Resources

Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) Human Resources team is seeking a self-motivated intern to support our IDG Commercial organization. You will collaborate with HR partners to organize employee and manager development forums, support organizational initiatives, contribute to annual HR programs, and help enhance engagement across all levels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills, including communicating clearly and convincingly. They will need to have the ability to work independently as a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in an ever-evolving environment, and adapt messaging across different audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize employee and manager development forums, including selecting and developing relevant topics

  • Shadow and support HR partners on organizational and people-related matters

  • Assist with planning and supporting the IDG Commercial Intern Program

  • Conduct data analysis on annual employee survey to support future people initiatives

  • Organize HR SharePoint page for use by internal HR team and resources for Commercial segment employees

  • Create and curate content for LinkedIn

  • Ad-hoc requests based on business need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student (preferred majors in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields)

  • Project management skills and experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable asking questions and doing the due diligence to understand the landscape

  • Self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
