Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, this role provides support for clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting study participants; collecting, organizing, and maintaining study data; scheduling and coordinating study visits; and performing clinical research procedures (e.g., phlebotomy, EKGs). The role also contributes to determining study subject suitability and recruitment strategies, performs data analysis and QA/QC activities, and assists with reports and presentations. Essential Functions Assist in determining study subject suitability and serve as a resource for study participants and their families. Provide input into recruitment strategies and contribute to protocol recommendations as needed. Administer study questionnaires and scoring instruments. Maintain research data, patient files, regulatory binders, and study databases. Perform data analysis, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks, and data interpretation. Assist with preparation for annual reviews and support the Principal Investigator (PI) in completing study reports and presentations. May assist with training and orientation of new research staff.
