Position Title: Assembly

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available in Assembly at a company in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a potential to hire position for 1st shift. Apply today! Assembly Responsibilities: - Assemble electronic and mechanical cable components based on written instructions, drawings and wiring diagrams - Use semi-automatic and manual crimping tools to terminate cables and wires - Operate various hand and power tools as required for the assembly process, including seam rippers for removing tags, safety-guarded box cutters for opening boxes, and scissors for cutting wires - Ensure all work meets quality and productivity standards - Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Requirements for Assembly: - Good communication skills - Able to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, sketches and wiring diagrams - Able to read a tape measure to 1/8 of an inch accurately - Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail - Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs as needed - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred cedarrapids@qpsemployment.com IND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
