West Henderson Hospital is our seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It is located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. The 150-bed hospital is equipped to care for patients with a variety of medical needs. Services available include emergency care, cardiac care, neurology care, surgery, gastroenterology and inpatient care for medical needs such as pneumonia. Hospital services include:

Job Description:

Chief resposibility is to collect and submit reliable data to the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Bariatric Data Registry Platform. This task is accomplished through high-quality data compilation, documentation, and entry of 100 perfect of bariatric procedures performed at the center in the ACS Bariatric Data Registry Platform. The Coordinator works closely with the members of the bariatric and general surgery departments to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and other special projects as may be identified.

Shift: FULL TIME DAYS

Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of one year's experience in health care setting. Clinical chart review and abstraction experience, database data entry management experience, basic statistical knowledge preferred, general knowledge of office systems and software programs.

Technical Skills:

Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and data bases.

License/Certification:

None.

Other:

Ability to collaborate with all members of the health care team in a professional and courteous manner.
