Widener University is currently seeking a Web Content Coordinator to join the web (Marketing) team in the Office of University Relations. Reporting to the Director of Web Strategy, this role is responsible for coordinating and supporting web content initiatives university-wide through expert writing, relationship management, and project management. This is a hybrid role based in Chester, PA, aligned with Widener's flexible work policy. The ideal candidate is a skilled, detail-oriented web writer and editor with a strong understanding of web content best practices and content management systems including writing for search/AI discovery and accessibility. The Web Content Coordinator is responsible for supporting web content initiatives across Widener's digital ecosystem. This position serves as the frontline for managing everyday web requests ensuring web updates are timely, data-informed, and effective. As the go-to for understanding Widener's Drupal CMS, they serve as a guide for other web editors as well as a mentor and supervisor for student web editors.
