Responsibilities Contribute to the design of AI-powered features across M365 products and platforms. Translate user needs into clear experience frameworks, user flows, and interaction patterns. Collaborate closely with PM, engineering, and research partners to deliver thoughtful, scalable solutions. Embrace ambiguity and shifting priorities with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Communicate clearly and consistently across time zones and tools to support async collaboration. Share early design explorations to gather feedback and build alignment. Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of craft, innovation, and user advocacy. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience Additional Requirements: Applications must include a portfolio demonstrating endtoend product thinking, interaction design, and prototyping Preferred Qualifications: Deep proficiency in Figma, including components and interactive prototypes Experience shipping products or features through an endtoend design process Experience designing with AI and/or LLMpowered experiences Well-versed in AItools and current AI industry trends Effective storytelling and presentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional partners Applies AI concepts and tools to design smarter, more adaptive user experiences and to enhance their design process Brings momentum to design challenges, carries work through execution, and iterates based on feedback and outcomes Delivers polished, usercentered solutions with attention to detail, usability, accessibility, and implementation quality with a high craft bar Thrives in fastmoving, evolving environments and navigates ambiguity and shifting priorities with focus Clearly articulates design decisions and rationale across timezones, and partner teams-both live and async-to maintain speed and alignment Builds strong relationships with Product management, Engineering, Research, and Data science to drive aligned, highquality outcomes Manages multiple priorities and workstreams efficiently while maintaining quality and momentum Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
