This role oversees all operations, activities, and staff within the detention barn, where urine and blood samples are collected for pre- and post-race examinations of horses. Ensuring the integrity of the chain of custody for both the horses and their samples. A key aspect of this role is to ensure the integrity of the chain of custody for the horses and their samples. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medications to the horses. It is crucial to consistently enforce the rules, policies, and procedures established by the Pennsylvania Racing Commission to uphold the integrity of racing and safeguard the welfare of the horses. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Medical Doctor program.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid license to practice veterinary medicine as issued by a State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
Post Employment Requirement:
- Possession of a Commission Employee License
