You'll Support Meaningful Work By:
  • Building strong relationships with dealer teams, A&D firms, real estate partners, and end users across the Des Moines market.
  • Managing a portfolio of owned accounts and design firms while driving strategic selling activities to meet annual sales targets.
  • Collaborating closely with the dealer to align on opportunities, strengthen the partnership, and support shared business goals.
  • Developing new business by networking within the influencer community and identifying upcoming opportunities.
  • Advancing opportunities through the full sales cycle, including uncovering needs, shaping solutions, and closing deals.
  • Executing administrative activities such as opportunity tracking, account planning, and CRM updates to maintain pipeline accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial interiors.
  • Understanding of the manufacturer-dealer-influencer ecosystem.
  • Experience selling in a B2B environment, ideally through a dealership model.
  • Demonstrated strategic selling capability and a selfstarter approach.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problemsolving skills.
  • Solid timemanagement skills and ability to operate independently in the market.
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce or similar).
  • Teamoriented mindset with a positive, learningdriven approach.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Established network within the commercial interiors industry.
  • Experience engaging with A&D firms, real estate partners, and seniorlevel stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities.
  • Familiarity with design firms and comfort presenting pitches or proposals.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills across dealer teams and market influencers.
Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime basis. Steelcase will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization and/or visas for this role.
The base salary range for this position is $91,400 - $130,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills and qualifications.
