Overview

Otter Products is hiring for a Sr. Director, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) who will be responsible for owning Demand Planning, S&OP and Business Insights. This role will be based in Fort Collins, CO on a hybrid schedule for those who are local. If you are not local, you can be remote in the US.

As the Sr. Director, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), you will directly lead the full spectrum of analysis for the process, including demand planning, business insights development, process development, cross-functional buy-in and accountability, and change management, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. You will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Product, and Executive Leadership to create a unified operating rhythm that enhances accountability, improves predictability, and drives profitable growth. In this people leader role, you will apply advanced leadership skills to support the professional growth of your direct reports and the broader team. This is a people leader role.

Responsibilities

    S&OP Process Leadership:
    • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's S&OP framework, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
    • Establish governance, operating cadence, and standards for an effective, scalable S&OP process.
    • Drive executive-level engagement, ensuring cross-functional commitment to decisions and accountability for outcomes.
  • Supply/Demand Integration:
    • Oversee the development of accurate, data-driven demand forecasts leveraging quantitative modeling and business insights.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to integrate market intelligence, promotional plans, and new product data into forecasting models.
    • Apply scenario planning to mitigate risks, identify opportunities, and enhance forecast confidence.
  • Performance Metrics & Reporting:
    • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure forecasting accuracy, supply alignment, and overall process effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Act as the central integrator between Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
    • Champion organizational adoption of S&OP best practices to mature planning processes and improve performance
  • Executive Alignment: Present findings, material risks, and scenario planning options to executive leadership for decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in planning technology, analytics, and demand management processes.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain is required. Master's degree is preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of twelve years of Operations, Sales, or Product Management experience is required.
  • Minimum of two years in a director, or higher level, role is required.
  • Experience with S&OP, IBP, and demand planning is required.
  • PMP certification is preferred.

USD $180,000.00/Yr.


For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $240,000.00/Yr.
