The Data Migration Lead will serve as the senior program manager responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing the comprehensive data migration strategy for the global IWMS implementation across all phases and geographies. This headquarters-level leadership role will design migration frameworks, establish standards, and ensure successful data transition across the multi-phase rollout covering thousands of properties and leases worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall data migration strategy for the global IWMS implementation program

  • Lead cross-functional teams to establish data migration standards, processes, and governance frameworks

  • Coordinate with the IWMS Governance and Client Governance Councils on migration priorities and timelines

  • Report directly to Strategic Technology Program leadership

Data Migration Strategy & Framework Development

  • Design comprehensive data migration methodology covering lease data, portfolio information, and capital planning modules. Additional modules may be added in the future

  • Serve in an advisory and leadership capacity in designing a global data migration team structure inclusive of technical, functional, vendor and client team members

  • Establish data quality standards, validation processes, and migration success criteria with support from technical data migration resources

  • Lead the development of standardized templates, tools, and procedures for use across all geographic clusters

  • Design solutions for data mapping of complex multi-language and multi-currency environments

Multi-Wave (Phase) Coordination & Management

  • Oversee data migration activities across all implementation waves covering global regions

  • Coordinate with Wave Leads to ensure consistent application of migration standards and processes

  • Manage dependencies between HQ operations and regional geographic cluster implementations

  • Establish communication protocols and feedback mechanisms with Client Cluster (geography) Ambassadors

Technical Leadership & Client Enablement

  • Lead technical design sessions for complex data transformation requirements

  • Support client teams by providing structure, processes, and training for data validation and transformation activities

  • Leverage client data standards and JLL standard practices to mature the data migration processes, procedures, and protocols

  • Support other parallel IWMS implementation workstreams including integration requirements clarification, report configuration, CAD drawing data migration efforts, lease abstraction efforts, and application development of the IWMS system

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Interface regularly with Governing Councils as needed

  • Provide executive-level reporting on migration progress, risks, and success metrics

  • Coordinate with JLL technical teams and external implementation partners (if needed)

  • Facilitate decision-making processes for complex migration scenarios

Required Qualifications

Experience & Leadership

  • 15+ years of enterprise data migration and program management experience

  • 10+ years leading large-scale, multi-regional technology implementations

  • Proven experience with IWMS or similar enterprise real estate management platforms

  • Strong background in real estate data structures (leases, portfolios, capital planning)

Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks

  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and API management

  • Proficiency with data analysis tools, SQL, and enterprise data platforms

  • Knowledge of multi-language and multi-currency data handling requirements

Program Management Skills

  • PMP or equivalent program management certification preferred

  • Experience managing complex, multi-phase implementations across global time zones

  • Strong risk management and issue escalation capabilities

  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple vendor relationships and internal stakeholders

Leadership & Communication

  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizational structures

  • Cultural competency for managing global, diverse teams

  • Ability to translate technical complexity into business-focused communications

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Governance Council and to JLL's Technology Program Director. Interfaces regularly with other customer business units / departments.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Successful data migration completion across all waves within established timelines

  • Data quality metrics meeting or exceeding established thresholds

  • Stakeholder satisfaction scores from regional Wave Leads and Church Ambassadors

  • Risk mitigation effectiveness and issue resolution times

  • Budget adherence and resource optimization metrics

This senior leadership role is critical to the success of the global IWMS implementation and requires an experienced professional capable of managing enterprise-scale data migration complexity across diverse international markets.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

200,000.00 - 250,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
