Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose:

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician ensures that the facility and production equipment operates at peak efficiency and safety. This role involves servicing the facility maintenance repairs, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, performing routine inspections, equipment maintenance.

Nature of Duties:

Perform scheduled machine inspections, lubrication, and part replacements based on manufacturer guidelines or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) schedules. Diagnose root causes of equipment failures using diagnostic tools and repair is a plus or the ability to learn.Working knowledge of in line wave and selective soldering equipment a plus or the ability to learn.

* SMT ovens process for diagnostics and performing required maintenance a plus or the ability to learn.

* Assist in the installation of new machinery and perform "changeovers" or setups for different product runs.

* Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

* Maintain accurate logs of repairs, part usage, and equipment history to track Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).

* Troubleshoot and monitor Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automated robotic systems is a plus or the ability to learn.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronic, or a related technical field preferred).

* 2-5 years in a manufacturing environment.

* Troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics equipment.

* Interpreting schematics and manuals to find the root cause.

* Relaying status updates to shift leads.

* Lifting up to 50 lbs.
