JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Accurately record and process phone, email, and walk in orders.
  • Accurately enter and maintain orders in the parts system (D365, ExFlow), monitor "tiles" which show transactions in process and action accordingly.
  • Communicate with customers and vendors on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and other business partners with efficiency and courtesy.
  • Use reference materials including books, microfiche, online resources, schematics
  • Investigate inquiries, issues and concerns and communicate the results accordingly.
  • Process and follow through with sales, credits, and all back orders.
  • Maintain counter sales promotional material.
  • Secure and record payments for all COD customers.
  • Initiate additional sale opportunities.
  • Ensure workplace safety.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Parts Counter experience required.
  • Proven customer service experience in person or via telecommunication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high call volume.
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Mechanical/Parts knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent communication and selling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, experience utilizing MS Office programs.
  • Ability to investigate and follow through discrepancies.
