As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication. You will greet tenants and visitors, provide customer service, and document observations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, taking appropriate action such as providing directions, communicating site rules, and notifying management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and property-related issues, and assist with evacuations and/or shelter-in-place procedures when directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations using written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
