Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mobile Rounds Driver in Bridgeton, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control, reports, and incident response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and established access procedures at a tech and/or telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entrances, loading areas, and other key points; verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and/or direct guests to appropriate destinations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to Allied Universal reporting requirements.
• Complete routine security-related logs, patrol reports, and incident reports; communicate pertinent updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
