What to Expect
The successful candidate will have experience in many facets of fabrication, installs and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems for factory automation. Technical leadership experience in supporting a production line, as well as new model and/or new equipment introductions is desired. The candidate needs to be well-versed in various craft skills such as, welding, equipment repair and fabrication, machine tool operation (mill, lathe), project management as it pertains to new equipment introduction and supporting engineering with equipment breakdowns.
What You'll Do
- Lead and assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of factory automation including robotics, electrical control systems and mechanical systems
- Assist in troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical systems in plant manufacturing equipment
- Improvise quick fixes to problems with processes or on equipment addressed by engineering team
- Work with engineers and fellow technicians to resolve technical problems
- Develop skills to design and implement equipment improvement projects
- Enforces safety rules in machine shop as well as manage access to machine tools and train personnel on operation of tools
- Possess the desire and ability to learn, as well as demonstrate personal responsibility
What You'll Bring
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems and components is highly desired
- Experience with welding, sheet metal fabrication, and basic use of manual mill and lathe
- Minimum 3 years of experience in assembly, metal fabrication, and repair of electro-mechanical components and systems
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Proficient with computer tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and work management programs
- Understand how to use Autocad and or Solidworks to view and manipulate build drawings and files
- Must have the command of the English language, both written and verbal

Expected Compensation
$28.80 - $43.44/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
