On-Site Technology (OST) Technician What this job involves:

As an On-Site Technology Technician at JLL, you'll be the go-to technology expert at your assigned client location, ensuring that every piece of technology works seamlessly so building occupants can focus on what matters most. This frontline role combines hands-on technical support with proactive infrastructure maintenance, creating an environment where technology enhances rather than hinders productivity. You'll troubleshoot everything from desktop issues to conference room audiovisual systems, manage equipment lifecycles, and build strong relationships with the people you support daily. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, diagnosing and resolving problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals

  • Respond to support tickets within established SLA timeframes while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores through professional communication and efficient problem resolution

  • Deploy, configure, and install workstations, monitors, phones, and other technology equipment for new hires, office moves, and equipment refreshes according to company standards

  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot audiovisual equipment including projectors, video conferencing systems, and collaboration tools, ensuring conference rooms are always ready for meetings and presentations

  • Track technology assets using inventory management systems, conduct regular audits, and coordinate equipment procurement, delivery, and storage to maintain accurate records

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs and specialized services, escalating complex issues to appropriate IT support teams with clear documentation

  • Maintain detailed records of all support activities, resolutions, and equipment changes in ticketing systems while creating knowledge base articles and user guides

  • Build strong relationships with building occupants and client stakeholders, proactively identifying technology needs and addressing them before they become disruptions

Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support or help desk environment

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and common business applications

  • Understanding of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi

  • Familiarity with audiovisual and video conferencing equipment such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and Cisco Webex

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose issues methodically

  • Strong customer service orientation with professional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday

Preferred qualifications:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar IT certifications

  • ITIL Foundation certification

  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Service Desk

  • Mobile device management (MDM) platform experience

  • Basic understanding of building access control and security systems

  • Valid driver's license for supporting multiple client locations

  • Experience working in commercial real estate or corporate office environments
