Overview:

To work with guests to facilitate activities professionally and efficiently.

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and associates, damage to our property or the property of others. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrate this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation and resort/activity information to our guests and associates
• Ensure proper etiquette, technique and service delivery to our guests and associates.
• Facilitate fishing trips with guests.
• Facilitate water activities for guests.
• Facilitate hiking/bird watching activities for guests.
• Maintain a basic knowledge of operations in outdoor activities, including shuttle routes.
• Maintain the ability to check the daily schedule in the golf shop.
• Maintain cleanliness of fishing activity areas including trash removal and cleaning/ fueling activity vehicles.
• Must be alert to all weather conditions for the day and be able to determine if conditions are safe for outdoor activities.
• Must be prepared to act swiftly in the event of severe weather to ensure your own safety and the safety of the guests.
• Must be able to swim.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

• Because of the fluctuating demands of the company's operation, it may be necessary that each Associate perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Associates are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
• Order Supplies.
• Clean and maintain a hygienic and organized work area.
• Maintenance/Cleanliness work area

Tools and Equipment:

• Order/inventory all fishing/water/bird Supplies in a clean, neat, and ready for use manner.
• Ensure Clean and maintained outdoor areas for the safety and security of guests and fellow associates.
• Work with Golf & Grounds team to ensure all areas are safe and assessable.

Working Environment:

• Exterior of the Resort.
• Hot/Humid conditions.
• Working in dangerous areas of wetland; gators, snakes and other venomous creatures in work area.
