What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the front desk location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and visitor access according to location protocols, and help to deter unauthorized entry in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation with attention to detail and according to location guidelines.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support a welcoming and professional environment while following security-related standards common to a financial institution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, and/or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
