We're looking for driven, mechanically minded individuals to join our team as Fabrication Technicians. This is a handson, multidisciplinary role supporting the production of our standard product lines. You'll work in a crossfunctional fabrication cell performing assembly, welding, coiling, hydrotesting, engraving, and packaging-building highquality products that our customers rely on.
As you grow from Level I through Level V, you'll expand your technical capabilities, take on leadership responsibilities, and become a key contributor to continuous improvement across the department.
What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities (All Levels)
- Perform mechanical and welding assembly per engineering specifications
- Operate and adjust fabrication equipment including saws, welders, grinders, and hydrotest stations
- Use scales, templates, tape measures, and gauges for inspection and layout
- Maintain accurate ERP records of parts and production progress
- Package products for shipment
- Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting devices
- Follow all PPE and safety policies
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives

Role Levels
Fabrication Technician I
- Perform basic mechanical assemblies using standardized work instructions
- Assist in operating saws, grinders, and basic tools
- Maintain part inventories and complete basic ERP transactions
- Support housekeeping and organization
- Begin learning tube straighteners and hydrotest machines
Fabrication Technician II
- Perform welding, assembly, and hydrotesting independently
- Maintain accurate part and workorder records
- Identify defective parts and perform inprocess testing
- Support packaging and material handling
Fabrication Technician III
- Perform highvolume TIG welds
- Become proficient with robotic welding systems and hydro rigs
- Assist in training new team members
- Maintain crane operation certifications
- Learn complex product builds
Fabrication Technician IV
- Independently operate all cell equipment and adjust programming
- Troubleshoot quality issues and validate part accuracy
- Support inventory management and process flow improvements
- Mentor lowerlevel technicians and help lead daily job sequencing
Fabrication Technician V
- Demonstrate full proficiency across all matrix categories
- Program and operate advanced machinery including robotic systems and orbital welding
- Lead team training and validate skill certifications
- Represent the cell in planning and improvement initiatives
- Support leadership in safety audits and process changes
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience with mechanical assembly, welding, or machine operation
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
- Basic TIG welding proficiency
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a shop environment
- Good spatial orientation, hand-eye coordination, and eyesight
- Familiarity with the safe operation of robotic systems.
