The Opportunity with Overcast

We'rehiring aLogistics Lead (Contract)to support outboundlogisticsoperations onsite at Overcast. This role will be hired via our growing Overcast division in Spokane. This is a long-term contract role whereyou'llplay a keypartin coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring materials move efficiently and on time.The estimated duration is 6-12 months, with potential for extension.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan, coordinate, and execute outbound shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, and freightforwarding)
• Prepare shipping documentation including bills oflading(BOLs), packing lists, and commercial invoices
• Support export documentation and ensure compliance with shipping requirements
• Manage relationships with carriers and coordinate pickups and deliveries
• Track shipments and provide updates to internal stakeholders
• Use TMS and ERP systems to manage and document shipping activity
• Troubleshootshipping issues and delays as they arise
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all shipping processes
• Support overall outboundlogisticsand material flow

What You Bring

• Associate degreerequired; bachelor's degree preferred (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field)
• 2-5 years of experience in shipping,logistics, or supply chain operations
• Experience coordinating shipments across multiple modes (LTL, FTL, parcel, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with ERP and/or TMS systems

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Incoterms
• Experience with export documentation and freightforwarding
• Hazmat shipping certification
• APICS CSCP or CLTD certification

This is an hourly contract role, with a pay range of $30.00- $50.00 per hour depending on experience.
