Job Title Installation Technician II (ISP Technician) Location 5090 North 40th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85018 (Onsite - customer sites and data centers) Job Description The Installation Technician II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment at customer locations and data centers. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to work independently while ensuring all work meets company quality standards, safety requirements, and testing procedures. The technician will support complex network environments and will have a solid understanding of Ethernet, DWDM, SONET, IP, and VoIP technologies, as well as AC/DC power systems and proper grounding practices. Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, and repair telecommunications equipment in data centers and customer sites * Perform rack and stack, racking, and structured cabling installations * Install and troubleshoot fiber optic and Ethernet-based network equipment * Support technologies including Ethernet, DWDM, SONET, IP, and VoIP * Perform DC power installations, terminations, and grounding per industry standards * Conduct fiber and power testing using appropriate tools and equipment * Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and power-related issues * Ensure installations comply with company quality standards and testing procedures * Accurately document work performed using Microsoft Office and internal systems * Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project timelines Required / Core Skills * Fiber optic installation and troubleshooting * Ethernet networking technologies * Data center environment experience * Rack and stack / equipment racking * DC power installation and grounding * Telecommunications equipment installation * Ability to work independently in field environments Top Skills (NonProvisioning) * Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting telecom equipment * Knowledge of Ethernet, DWDM, SONET, IP, and VoIP systems * Strong understanding of AC/DC power systems and grounding practices * Experience working in data centers and customer-facing environments * Proficiency with fiber optic and power testing tools * Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
