As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Spring, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. In this role, you will support access activities, assist visitors and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service while reflecting Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols and utility industry requirements.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations, and by following post orders and instructions for assigned patrol areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
