By operating advanced floor maintenance equipment and ensuring high cleaning standards, this position directly supports a healthy, professional, and welcoming workplace for all building occupants.

What You Will Do



  • Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently to maintain all floor surfaces, including carpet, tile, and hard flooring.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, buffing, and burnishing.
  • Execute floor maintenance procedures including stripping, waxing, refinishing, and polishing using mechanical equipment.
  • Maintain and care for all assigned equipment; report mechanical issues promptly to a supervisor.
  • Request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and elevator areas.
  • Wash windows, door panels, and sills; polish metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and replenish restroom supplies.
  • Complete required documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Assist with janitorial duties as needed and fill in for other custodial roles when required.
  • May train other staff on proper use, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of floor equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company SOPs, and organizational policies at all times.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, strong work ethic, and positive team behavior.
