For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Solution Architect. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Cloud Solution Architect.
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Solution Architect with a strong DevOps focus to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable, and automated cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role is responsible for defining cloud architecture patterns, establishing DevOps best practices, and guiding engineering teams in the delivery of infrastructure and applications through modern CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and platform automation.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across Azure services, cloud governance, automation, and software delivery practices, along with the ability to translate business requirements into practical, supportable cloud architectures.
Design end-to-end Azure cloud architectures that align with business, security, operational, and compliance requirements.
Lead the development of DevOps-enabled cloud delivery models, including CI/CD pipelines, release automation, environment strategy, and deployment governance.
Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
Architect and optimize Azure environments including networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, and security services.
Design and oversee automated build, test, deployment, and rollback strategies for cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure.
Partner with application teams, platform engineers, security teams, and project stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and maintainable.
Develop Azure landing zones, governance standards, tagging strategies, policy enforcement, and cost management controls.
Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle through DevSecOps practices, including policy validation, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
Define observability standards using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and related tooling.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
8+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, application architecture, or enterprise IT engineering roles.
Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Git-based source control, CI/CD pipeline design, and release orchestration.
Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, RBAC, secrets management, and governance controls.
