We are Givaudan. Human by nature. As a Quality Specialist you will maintain and improve the local Quality and Food Safety programs aligned with global policies, regulatory and customer requirements. Also participate in local Vendor and Customer Quality Programs aligned with global policies. You will report to the head of quality. Your Responsabilities
- Manage local Quality and Food Safety programs aligned with global policy
- Support the maintenance of the local quality/food safety documentation
- Maintain the local quality, food safety and food defense programs along with the specific responsibilities for programs such as halal, kosher and organic.
- Lead and perform Internal audits and monthly food safety inspections
- Lead the execution of internal and customer driven quality and food safety system requirements
- Provide mentoring, coaching and training on quality and food safety to all staff
- Coordinate food safety non-conformances, including participation and review of the root causes, trend analysis and action follow-up
- Implement Quality and Food Safety Programs aligned with global policies
- Support the implementation of globally agreed quality and food safety system requirements from customers
- Support the implementation of globally new or updated global/regional quality and food safety system policies
- Manage or support customer audits and resulting improvement plans
- Manage or support regulatory audits and resulting improvement plans
- Manage or support certification/program audits and resulting improvement plans
- Perform and report on vendor audits
- Participate , guide ,or lead projects for quality and food safety improvements at the site
Education / Background / Technical skills
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Service or related field with minimum 3 years experience in Quality Assurance/ Management/Control.
- Strong background in Quality and Food Safety Systems such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, FDA requirements(PCQI), Food Defense. Lead/internal auditor experience.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and written to properly address all levels within the organization as well as external customers, vendors and suppliers
- Strong computer knowledge with such systems as SAP, Databases, Microsoft Office products is preferred.
