You'll play a pivotal role in transforming social interactions into meaningful relationships and actionable insights, making a tangible impact on brand affinity and market presence.

This dynamic role is central to our social media strategy, focusing on high-impact community engagement and insightful social listening. You will become the primary voice of the brand on key social platforms, ensuring every interaction reflects its values and resonates with its audience. Working within a lean and agile team, you'll contribute directly to keeping the brand at the center of pop culture discussions and foster a vibrant online community.

**Responsibilities:**

* Lead daily proactive and reactive community engagement across all social platforms.

* Champion the brand's unique tone-of-voice, delivering interactions with a distinct "writing flair" that strengthens brand affinity and grows fan communities.

* Manage and respond within the brand's owned comment sections, deepening relationships with superfans and loyal consumers.

* Identify and flag emerging sentiment, recurring questions, and product feedback from community interactions.

* Proactively identify high-impact user-generated content and viral social conversations for timely brand participation.

* Publish culturally additive brand comments in earned spaces, ensuring tone, timing, and cultural fluency align with brand strategy.

* Track and analyze performance metrics related to community engagement (e.g., impressions, likes, replies, earned media value) across both owned and earned spaces to optimize strategies.

* Leverage social listening to identify emerging sentiments and cultural trends, delivering actionable insights and storytelling opportunities back to the broader marketing team.

* Provide ad-hoc support for social media projects and community strategy as determined by team needs.

* Be available for evening and weekend coverage as needed, particularly during key "pop culture" moments or major brand launches.

**Required Skills & Experience:**

* Demonstrated US-based brand social media experience (internship experience is acceptable if robust).

* Exceptional written communication skills with a proven ability to adapt tone-of-voice and inject personality into brand interactions.

* Strong understanding of the social media landscape, including current trends, competitive strategies, and best practices.

* High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

* A self-starter who thrives in autonomous and independent work environments.

* Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and report on performance metrics.

* Proven cultural fluency and a nuanced understanding of brand voice and its application.

* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

* Genuine passion for social media and community building.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Prior experience within retail, fashion, or lifestyle consumer brands.

Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
