Description

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Deliver incoming parcels (i.e. FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) as needed.
  • Print postage on outgoing mail through mail machines.
  • Deliver all mail and supplies to branches, departments, and affiliates as needed.
  • Transport business deposits and/or paperwork from the business location to the designated TowneBank location.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Must adhere to the TowneBank dress guidelines. (The Bank provides a clothing allowance.)
  • Maintain a clean bank provided vehicle.
  • Keep all vehicle receipts for gas and other approved expenses when using your bank provided corporate card and turn in on time.
  • Obey all traffic laws.
  • Assist with campus activities and event support as needed.
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:



  • Must have a current Virginia or North Carolina driver's license
  • Must provide a clean current driving record
  • Ability to run assigned route timely and safely
  • Must be flexible to changing work schedules
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to work well with people and have a team player attitude


Desired Skills & Competencies:



  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Knowledge of regional roads within banking footprint a plus


Physical Requirements:



  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
