With projects throughout the southeast, Christman Southeast Constructors (CSEC) is a great place to begin, continue or grow your career. CSEC is looking for a Part-Time Laborer (Seasonal) in our Knoxville, Tennessee region.

What You Will Do:

As a Part-Time Laborer, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Cleans and prepares construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Assists with loading and unloading materials and equipment, distributing them to the appropriate locations as directed.
• Uses required tools to complete assigned tasks on the job site.
• Follows instructions from supervisors and implements construction plans.
• Assists other trades workers on the job site.
• Directs traffic during roadway construction, as required.
• Builds and takes down scaffolding or temporary structures, as required.
• Assists with maintenance of construction tools or equipment.
• Keeps immediate working area clean. Must use broom and wheelbarrows and follow material procedures.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards. Takes all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.

Expected Hours of Work: Part-Time Position

Required Education and Experience

• No minimum experience required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) or more years of experience in commercial construction.
