Credence has an immediate opening for an IT System Administrator to support classified and secure enterprise IT environments in direct support of mission operations to the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC). This role is responsible for administering, sustaining, and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux systems; managing user access and configurations; maintaining system security posture; and supporting users in secure operational environments. The role operates in accordance with Government-directed cybersecurity requirements and enterprise IT standards.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below:

  • Administer and maintain Windows and/or Linux server environments, ensuring system availability, stability, and performance
  • Perform Active Directory and account management, including user, group, and role administration
  • Execute system patching, updates, and configuration management in accordance with enterprise and security requirements
  • Support virtualized environments, including system provisioning and sustainment
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and access issues and provide timely resolution to end users
  • Apply cybersecurity hygiene practices, including implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and remediation of vulnerabilities
  • Support secure or enterprise user environments by resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues
  • Participate in configuration control processes and maintain accurate system documentation
  • Operate within classified environments while adhering to all security policies and procedures

Education, Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with current special access program (SAP) access desired
  • Bachelor's degree, plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology and system administration, including:
  • Windows and/or Linux server administration
  • Active Directory and account management
  • Patching and configuration management, virtualization, troubleshooting, network fundamentals
  • Cybersecurity hygiene (i.e. STIG implementation and vulnerability remediation)
  • User support for secure or enterprise environments or equivalent experience / responsibilities

Work Environment

  • On-site support within secure Government facilities
  • Standard duty hours are Monday-Friday during Government operating hours, with potential surge or off-hours support as required by mission needs
