Actual compensation within the pay range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.

Purpose/Objective:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operational functions of our Registered Investment Advisory Firm (RIA). The role is primarily responsible for managing client onboarding, account maintenance and other custodial requests through our designated custodian, Charles Schwab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Operations and Client Service teams to monitor and execute client requests to deliver an excellent client experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Serve as the liaison between client service and the custodian for all operational inquiries - i.e. managing client onboarding, ACAT transfers, money movement requests and general account maintenance.
- Prepare new account applications and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate and compliant prior to submission. Monitor the progress through completion.
- Coordinate with client service to gather required client information and resolve onboarding issues
- Process account updates and service requests and troubleshoot/resolve rejected, delayed or not in good order requests.
- Interact with custodian daily via phone or online portal to status and remediate custodial requests.
- Provide timely updates to client service team and deliver a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
Experience:
- 3-5+ years of experience in RIA, broker-dealer, or financial services operations
- Hands-on experience with Schwab Advisor Center (or similar custodial platform) is preferred
- Experience with back-office custodial operations, i.e. client onboarding, account maintenance, asset transfer, etc.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong research, problem solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to synthesize and interpret data quickly.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to be a dynamic team player
