W2 ONLY, NO C2C 100% REMOTE Top Skills' Details 1) MS D365 CE/Field Service Mobile Development 2) Power Apps 3) JavaScript Description Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Mobile CE / Field Service Developer to support and enhance a highly customized System involving both Customer Engagement (CE) and Business Central (BC). This role is ideal for a hands-on Senior developer with deep technical expertise in custom D365 CE development, mobile/offline capabilities, and JavaScript-based extensions, who is also comfortable working closely with Product and Functional teams to bring complex business requirements to life. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with functional and product stakeholders to translate detailed functional requirements and Functional Design Documents (FDDs) into scalable, high-quality technical solutions within a complex and customized D365 environment. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain custom Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Field Service mobile solutions, with a strong emphasis on offline capability and mobile usability * Build and maintain custom JavaScript solutions, extensions, and client-side customizations to support highly tailored business processes * Develop and configure solutions using Power Apps (Model-Driven Apps) and related Power Platform components * Work extensively with managed and unmanaged solutions, including solution layering, deployment strategies, and lifecycle management * Implement and support complex offline mobile scenarios, ensuring data integrity, synchronization reliability, and end-user performance * Partner closely with Product Owners, Functional Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to clearly understand functional requirements and translate them into robust technical designs * Participate in design discussions, technical reviews, and solution planning sessions in collaboration with functional partners * Ensure solutions follow best practices for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability * Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development, test, and production environments. Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of development standards and processes. Required: * Extensive hands-on experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Field Service Developer * Strong expertise in custom CE development, including forms, views, entities, business rules, and integrations * Advanced proficiency with JavaScript for Dynamics 365 client-side development * Solid experience building solutions with Power Apps, particularly model-driven apps * Deep understanding of managed vs. unmanaged solutions, solution layering, and deployment best practices * Proven experience delivering complex mobile solutions with robust offline functionality * Strong ability to write custom extensions, scripts, and tailored solutions in highly customized environments * Experience translating functional requirements and FDDs into technical designs and working software * Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with Product and Functional teams Preferred: * Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise D365 implementations * Familiarity with Power Automate, Dataverse customization, and integration patterns * Knowledge of Field Service business processes and mobile workforce scenarios * Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbus, IN.
