Job Description

DDN is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to support the Company's next phase of growth and public company readiness. This role will lead the preparation of U.S. GAAP financial reporting, oversee technical accounting matters, and play a key role in the month-end close and audit process. The position will partner cross-functionally to address complex accounting issues, drive consistency in accounting policies, and enhance processes and controls.

Key responsibilities:

    Preparation of annual and interim U.S. GAAP financial statements and related footnotes
  • Serve as primary liaison with external auditors, managing audit execution, PBCs, and issue resolution
  • Research, analyze, and document complex technical accounting matters (revenue, leases, stock-based compensation, M&A, debt, etc.) and draft related accounting policies
  • Partner cross-functionally to evaluate and structure non-standard transactions and ensure appropriate accounting treatment
  • Oversee key areas of the month-end close, including review of complex journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support stock-based compensation accounting and equity administration, including expense recognition and system oversight

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with an active CPA license
  • 8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a combination of Big 4 public accounting and/or industry experience
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and strong technical accounting capabilities, with required exposure to SEC reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate complex accounting issues and develop well-supported conclusions and documentation
  • Experience with stock-based compensation accounting and equity administration

Salary for the role: $185,000 to $195,000
