JOB DUTIES Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is looking for a Intake Coordinator (MA /MSW). This position is very imperative to our success at Rivendell. The Intake Coordinator performs a wide variety of patient care duties which include assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.Intake Coordinator interviews patients, measuring vital signs, conducting patient rounds, administering medications, assessments, and procedures as directed by the physician. Refers to and consults with physicians/psychiatrists and other health providers.

The Intake Coodinator (MA/MSW) operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Rules and Regulations of Social Workers outlined by the Arkansas Department of Health Social Worker Licensing and according to agency operating policies, protocols, and standards.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of social work. Must hold AR Social Worker license or be license eligible.

Preferred experience in a pyschiatric setting with call center/intake experience.

CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation offered upon hire.Mandatory certifications.Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff. Must be able to work as a team with all staff/coworkers and maintain the ability to treat all patients with respect.
