Position Summary:

Serve as Lead Biostatistician for the design and analysis of grant-funded and contracted multi-institutional (e.g., regional, national, and international) clinical research studies. Oversee the work of Biostatisticians and Senior Biostatisticians on multi-institutional studies, as Lead Biostatistician for the Johns Hopkins All Children's Data Coordinating Center (DCC) for Pediatric Multicenter Studies. Collaborate with multicenter study Clinical Coordinating Center principal investigators locally and at other institutions to inform protocol design, statistical analysis plan development, and presentation and publication of multicenter study results, suitable for regulatory submissions (e.g., FDA, Institutional Review Board) and dissemination in peer-reviewed medical/scientific journals. Contribute as needed to investigator-initiated single-institutional study design, statistical analysis plan development and execution, and presentation/publication of findings.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in biostatistics or related scientific field required. PhD preferred
  • Minimum of six (6) years of related experience required; demonstrated ability on significant graduate project or additional doctoral education may substitute for experience
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Advanced knowledge in programming reproducible statistical code using STATA, SAS, R or other statistical software



Salary Range: Minimum 37.07/hour - Maximum 59.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
