Position Overview The Mammo / X-Ray / Dexa Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with all imaging protocols. This role includes conducting mammography, X-ray, and Dexa examinations, supporting radiologists with accurate imaging, and maintaining equipment and imaging standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of communicating effectively with a diverse patient population. Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are preferred. Job Responsibilities Perform mammography, X-ray, and Dexa imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards Operate specialized imaging equipment while maintaining image quality and patient safety Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures Review images for clarity and diagnostic quality prior to submission Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support radiologists and clinical staff with imaging-related needs Follow all radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures Provide professional and compassionate patient care throughout examinations Communicate effectively with patients and staff in both English and Spanish when applicable Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment Job Requirements ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (ARRT (R)(M)) Minimum of 2 years of current 3D mammography experience Active New Jersey State License Current CPR certification Experience performing mammography, X-ray, and Dexa exams Strong knowledge of imaging procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred Ability to work rotating Saturdays as scheduled Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) Pension plan Profit sharing Generous paid time off (PTO) Opportunity to work within a large academically affiliated radiology group About Equiliem Equiliem believes in empowering success.
