Aviation Customer Service Specialist Location: Miami, FL About the Role As an Aviation Customer Service Specialist, you will be at the center of World Fuel's global customer operations, supporting aviation clients around the world in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a highly customer-facing role where you will manage incoming requests via phone and email, resolve real-time issues, and ensure a seamless experience for our clients. Impact of the Role You are often the first point of contact for customers, making your responsiveness and service critical to their overall experience. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction, retention, and service accuracy. What You Will Do Handle high volumes of inbound phone calls and emails from global aviation customers Provide real-time support, resolving urgent customer requests with accuracy and professionalism Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and delivering consistent service Monitor fuel availability and communicate updates or disruptions to customers Coordinate with Sales, Credit, Collections, Supply, and Billing teams to ensure seamless execution Support customer accounts and identify opportunities to enhance service and performance Adapt communication style to support a diverse, global customer base What You Bring Required 1 to 2 years of experience in high-volume customer service, call center, hospitality, airline, or similar fast-paced service environments Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Comfortable being on the phone for a significant portion of the day while managing multiple customer interactions Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly High attention to detail and sound judgment Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn Confidence communicating with global customers Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid passport Preferred Experience in aviation or exposure to global travel or logistics environments Familiarity with aircraft types or aviation operations Experience with Oracle or similar systems Fluency in additional languages Strong understanding of world geography Education High school diploma or GED required Why Join World Fuel Be part of a globally recognized leader in aviation fuel and services Work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment with real impact Build valuable customer service, operational, and problem-solving skills Gain exposure to international markets and customers Benefit from strong internal mobility and career development opportunities #WFS #LI-GR1 World Kinect is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
