Solutions Architect Alexandria, Virginia Pay From: $150,000 per year MUST: Experienced Solutions Architect 5+ years of professional experience as a Solutions Architect 10+ years of professional experience as a .NET Developer (Front end and back end) 10+ years of experience designing, developing and deploying web-based applications in C# HTML, JavaScript and other related web frontend languages Experienced with SQL using an enterprise relational database (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) Web services technologies (REST/SOAP) Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps, building CI/CD pipelines & PowerShell scripting Experience as a .NET Technical lead directing a group of developers Understanding of Agile methodologies Excellent troubleshooting skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be good at building and maintaining relationships with clients and employees Must be detail oriented, flexible and organized Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred Bachelors Degree required DUTIES: Solve complex problems by designing and/or modifying .NET architecture and testing the integration of software Provide technical leadership & mentoring for a team of developers developing, testing, and deploying software changes and creating supporting documentation Work with clients to understand and implement new requirements Analyze business needs, develop requirements, design, develop and test custom software solutions Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed Provide input on new designs and architecture as needed and assess the business impact of changes Take multiple systems and cross-system integration into account when designing and developing solutions Provide full stack applications development on the Microsoft/.NET/SQL Server platform Create new build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps Develop PowerShell scripts for Azure DevOps Admin and build/release customization Create APIs and microservices for new Web Service interfaces Using C# design, create and modify web and line of business applications Modernize current legacy applications Migrate applications' data layers to microservices using API gateways Provide maintenance for current software applications while developing new solutions Provide operational support when necessary & troubleshoot production issues Work the product backlog of features and bugs Develop well-tested, high performance, scalable web applications that are visually appealing, user-friendly and engaging Ensure applications security best practices are being utilized Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
