Job Summary

The Real Estate Portfolio Data Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and governing Georgia Techs central repository of real estate space information. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of property, lease, and space data used by campus stakeholders to support planning, financial analysis, compliance, and decision making. The position oversees data standards, documentation practices, and quality controls for real estate records, including deeds, leases, surveys, space assignments, and utilization data. The role collaborates closely with Real Estate Development, Facilities, Finance, and Institute partners to improve transparency, reduce risk, and enable data driven portfolio management in a decentralized environment.

Typically, will interact consistently with Georgia Tech staff and leadership, affiliated organizations, external stakeholders including landlords, brokers, and consultants, vendors, and building property management personnel.

Typically, will advise and assist staff, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders on real estate portfolio data, lease documentation and tracking, reporting requirements, and portfolio coordination processes.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Develop and maintain a centralized repository for real estate documentation including leases, easements, surveys, environmental reports, site plans, and transaction documentation.
Job Duty 2 - Coordinate with Facilities Management, Campus Planning, Capital Projects, Finance, Legal Affairs, and other campus partners to reconcile discrepancies in documentation and portfolio data, and to support reporting and transaction activities.
Job Duty 3 - Establish standardized naming conventions, metadata requirements, and file structures to ensure consistent documentation governance and accessibility across the real estate portfolio.
Job Duty 4 - Maintain a centralized database of real estate lease agreements including premises information, lease terms, rent schedules, renewal options, escalation structures, and critical dates.
Job Duty 5 - Track lease expirations, renewal timelines, notice periods, and compliance obligations; monitor adherence to lease terms, contractual requirements, and institutional policies; and provide alerts and reporting to unit leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Job Duty 6 - Support lease abstraction and documentation review to ensure accuracy and completeness of real estate transaction records and portfolio documentation.
Job Duty 7 - Maintain portfolio and property data including building attributes, ownership records, parcel information, zoning classifications, and square footage data.
Job Duty 8 - Develop and maintain portfolio reports, dashboards, and analytics related to Georgia Tech's real estate portfolio, including lease timelines, portfolio summaries, space utilization metrics, and asset data.
Job Duty 9 - Conduct research and analysis related to commercial real estate market conditions, comparable lease transactions, portfolio trends, and industry best practices to support strategic planning and real estate decision-making.
Job Duty 10 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Information Systems, Facilities Management, Urban Planning, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience
Minimum four years of job-related experience in commercial real estate, lease administration, facilities management, data management, or portfolio operations.

Proposed Salary

65,202-$88,673 Annually.
