Job Description:
A state government healthcare technology team is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 / Senior Data Engineer to support the development and enhancement of an enterprise data integration hub within a large-scale Performance Management & Analytics environment.

The selected candidate will work within an Agile development environment and support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data integration and analytics solutions. This role involves building ETL workflows, developing complex SQL transformations, automating data acquisition, and supporting data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
• Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF.
• Design and develop complex Snowflake SQL scripts and database objects.
• Create and maintain dimensional data models, views, and materialized views.
• Develop automated data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in Agile sprint ceremonies and SDLC activities.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders on solution design.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, and specifications.
• Support deployment, operations, and enhancements of the data integration hub.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Support analytics and reporting environments including Tableau.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
• 8+ years of experience integrating data from multiple technologies and data sources.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex Snowflake SQL scripts.
• Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data analytics or data warehousing environments.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Experience producing technical documentation and diagrams using Visio, Erwin, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Proven ability to write efficient, scalable, and testable code.
• Experience delivering software platforms across multiple organizational units.

• Agile/Scrum team experience.
• Python scripting experience.
• Tableau or business intelligence environment experience.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Experience handling PHI/PII data.
• JIRA experience.
• CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Java and JavaScript development experience.
• MuleSoft development experience.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake Intelligence, or Informatica Claire.
• Prior experience with government or healthcare agencies.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.

Additional Information:
