Location: Lowell General Hospital - 295 Varnum Avenue - Lowell, MA

Hours: Part-Time, 16 Hours - Mid-shift - Every other weekend (Sat-Sun) and every other holiday is required

Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

1. This position is responsible for distributing clean linen to the floors, collecting soiled linen, answering linen requests, submitting linen orders and communicating to leader linen needs.

2. Collects soiled linen on all floors within scheduled time and follows infection control procedures.

3. Delivers clean linen in a timely and organized manner.

4. Communicates effectively to supervisors and manager of shortages or excessive linen to effectively manage the processes.

5. Follow the IVR phone system when taking linen calls.

6. Follows the cares training program when interacting with patients and nurses.

7. Keeps linen areas clean and follows infection control guidelines.

8. Proactively works with departments for innovative ideas to improve linen services.

9. This position will also be performing various other tasks to aid the other departments that make up Hospitality Services.
