Location: Beverly, MA 01915

Job Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary

Harmonic Drive LLC is seeking CNC Operator I and CNC Operator II professionals to support the manufacturing and inspection of high-precision components. This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment, producing quality parts, performing inspections, and maintaining production records while adhering to company standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment and possess strong attention to detail, quality awareness, and the ability to interpret technical documentation.


Essential Responsibilities


  • Adhere to Harmonic Drive's shop employee expectations and safety standards.



  • Set up and operate various CNC machine tools in accordance with company policies, procedures, and production standards.



  • Perform repetitive production machining operations.



  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and work instructions.



  • Inspect machined parts to ensure compliance with quality requirements.



  • Upload, download, and manage CNC programs as required.



  • Maintain computerized and/or manual production records.



  • Perform additional duties as assigned.




Required Competencies


  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.



  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.



  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.



  • Basic computer proficiency.



  • Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.




Physical Requirements


  • Ability to read drawings, instructions, and inspection documentation.



  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.



  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.



  • Visual acuity (corrected if necessary) sufficient to inspect machined components.




Education & Experience
CNC Operator I


  • High School Diploma or GED required.



  • Technical or vocational school training is a plus.



  • 1-4 years of manufacturing experience.



  • Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred.




CNC Operator II


  • High School Diploma or GED required.



  • Technical or vocational school training is a plus.



  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.



  • Demonstrated ability to independently operate CNC equipment, interpret drawings, inspect parts, and maintain production quality standards.




Additional Information


  • This position is available at both Level I and Level II.



  • Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and qualifications.



  • Candidates with experience producing high-precision machined components are highly encouraged to apply.
